World Pro/Am Latin and Ballroom Champions

 

Daniel Novikov asked his parents to teach him ballroom dancing at the age of 4. However, he started doing dance moves to the Mambo music while he was still in his mummy’s tummy. Daniel takes his lessons in Edelweiss Premier Ballroom, the dance studio owned by his parents Alex and Alla Novikov.

Daniel always watched his parents training other students and always followed them behind and learned all their steps. You don’t have to ask Daniel to dance – he is always dancing in the studio, in the street and even in the grocery store. At age of 5 he did his first pro/am competition with his mom Alla Novikova and at 7 years old being the youngest competitor on the dance floor he won his first World pr/am title among the kids who were 2-4 older than him. Since that time Daniel has started competing a lot with his amateur partners and so far he won Total 6 US National and 5 World Titles in ballroom and latin.

Daniel wants to show all the young people in America how much of a sport the ballroom dancing is and how much joy and fun dancing can bring to your life!
